In the service of public interest, Partner Charles Jay  Dela Cruz acted as Resource Speaker on “Philippine Maritime Jurisprudence” at the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB) and International Labour Organisation (ILO) Specialized Training for Conciliators-Mediators and Single Entry Assistance Desk Officers on the Implementation of the Maritime Labour Convention (MLC2006) held in Manila on November 5 to 7 (first batch) and November 12 to 14, 2014 (second batch).


Partner Charles Jay Dela Cruz lectured on Philippine Maritime Jurisprudence to retired Justices, Judges and labor law practitioners in the 2014 Pre-Accreditation Training for Voluntary Arbitrators of Maritime Disputes conducted by National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB) held on July 28 and 29, 2014 at AMOSUP Seaman’s Center, Manila    


Partner Charles Jay Dela Cruz was the lone Filipino speaker at the Offshore Crewing and Manning Summit organized by IBC Asia held on June 28 to 30, 2014 at Grand Copthorne Waterfront, Singapore.


Partners Charles Jay Dela Cruz, Florencio Aquino and Senior Associate Pedrito Faytaren demonstrated their maritime legal, technical and “artistic” prowess when they took part in a Mock Arbitration involving ship collision scenario during the Joint Fellowship Conference between the International Maritime Employers’ Council (IMEC) and Maritime Law Association of the Philippines (MARLAW) held on 12 March 2014 in Makati City.  


Partner and MARLAW Past President Charles Jay Dela Cruz was a speaker at the Philippine Maritime Law Annual Conference and Seminar 2013 organized by the Maritime Law Association of the Philippines (MARLAW) and PortCalls Asia held on 29 October 2013 at the Hyatt Hotel, Manila.
